Generating a "DXDIAG" Printout

A "dxdiag" printout will generate a comprehensive list of the specifications of your computer.  These specs can assist the SynGlyphX team with the troubleshooting process if you an encounter an issue running the SynGlyphX software that you otherwise cannot correct. 

NOTE: This operation can only be run on a Windows machine.

  • Type dxdiag in the Windows search bar and hit “Enter.” This will open the computer’s diagnostics tool in a new window.

      

  • Click “Save All Information” in the diagnostics tool window.

      

  • Name and save the file to the desired location on your computer.

NOTE: The text file generated by saving the diagnostic information will look similar to the image below:


      

  • Send the diagnostic file and a detailed description of the software issue you experienced to the SynGlyphX support e-mail account, support@synglyphx.com
